Phill has worked as a software engineer for 40 years now, currently working for Microsoft. Over the past few years he has been an active member (treasurer, volunteer co-ordinator) for one of the Oswestry Rotary Clubs.  He first came across music MOB a few years ago when one of the tutors was busking in Oswestry and played a splendid Echo and the Bunnymen song.  While he can't really play an instrument (but has played guitar, badly, in the past), he fully appreciates the value of young people learning to play and perform.
